An Ode to Greatness

 <modified>2008-09-29T02:15+00:00

Dear George,Greatness always sweeps south driven by Northern hearts with souls burnt by the ice winds that roar drink from the pole; with eyes hardened by long winter nights spent dreaming dreams of glory. Greatness is drawn by the lush foliage of the south peopled by an indolent brownness that knows neither the value of work nor the determine of a dollar nor the value of the wealth buried beneath huts of grass. Nor does their indolence worship the pinch-faced God of the North with his mighty sword of righteousness that denudes the land to make way for the economic expansion that is his Will. The Northern heart is drawn to the sands of Arabia flushed green with the petrodollars that pour forth from its barren earth. The Noerthern mission is a holy mission to baptize the heathen in the ice waters of free enterprise and unhindered capital flow. With the daub of their women and children they make the sign of the cross on their foreheads and from the pools of blood that coagulate in their decimated villages mighty pyramids rise resting on the shoulders of the poor and the downtrodden who refuse to accept icy baptism from the North. Our greatness our ability to believe the world through the cracked lens of an ideology run amok. We destroy cultures that they may rise again from the dead ready to compete in the open market even though the deck is forever stacked against them. Long may the north wind freeze our hearts and steel them for the destiny that awaits us as we trod the thorny path of economic suicide in our quest to create the world in our visualise which is the only image worth creating even if doing so reduces it to dust. Some years ago. Case Wagenvoord turned off the tube and picked up a book. He's been trouble ever since. His articles have been posted at The Smirking Chimp. Countercurrents and Dissident Voice. When he's not writing or brooding he is carving hardwood bowls that have been displayed in galleries and shows across the country. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and three cats one of whom is a tom cat with which he has been having a twelve-year struggle over which one of them is the home's alpha male. To date it's a draw. His book. "Open Letters to George W. Bush" is available at Amazon com.
Evil is good when a spokesman speaks

 <modified>2008-06-22T07:19+00:00

Dear George,For evil to prevail those who perpetuate it must be convinced of the fundamental goodness of their acts. They must be adept at sopping up the gore that evil produces with the sands of euphuisms mouthed with a monotone drone that conceals even as it purports to inform. If properly repositioned evil becomes a common place banality that is fully integrated into the mundane sameness of our daily routines. With the passage of time evil acts no matter how horrendous lose their ability to shock and move us. Oh sure you still have your do-gooders who are unable to adapt to the dynamic changes our culture has experienced over the last seven years. They are Luddites who have dug their heels in against the unstoppable march of progress. Their latest effort was to gather 110 nations in Dublin. Ireland to hash out a treaty banning cluster bombs. Anyone who thinks America is going to go down that road is sadly mistaken. The cluster bomb is not an instrument of war it is an instrument of diplomacy and diplomacy is all about persuasion. For example let’s say we want a country to do things our way and that country refuses to do so. Can you think of a more effective argument to change their minds than maiming their children when they start playing soccer with unexploded bomblets? It sends a powerful message. Anyhow. 110 nations signed the treaty. We were not one of them. Some might think us evil for refusing to sign the treaty. Thank God we had a military spokesman on the scene that effectively deodorized our decision. He that. “Well we—the number one priority of any country’s military is to defend its country. And if our military planners are determined that these are necessary to protect America’s interests we—it’s not something were going to unilaterally get rid of (emphasis mine).”What a wonderful smokescreen he threw up! He didn’t fall back on the old cliché that the West has a long and noble history of bombing natives into submission. Instead he evoked that most bland of individuals the military planner. There’s a poetic phrase for you. It is a phrase that reduces evil to the humdrum boredom of endless meetings and thick position papers that dull the mind with the monotonous flow of their syntax. Our intent isn't to maim children even though we do; we simply be to be prepared for any contingency such as maiming children to make a point. What was fascinating about the statement was that embedded within it was a seismic shift that was so subtle the mainstream media missed it altogether. The spokesman didn’t speak about defending “America”; he spoke of defending “American interests.”Resource wars we have arrived. Your admirer,Belacqua Jones

Tangoing the Tango of the Mad

 <modified>2008-06-22T07:19+00:00

Dear George,Put on your dancing shoes and join the Tango of the Mad a ditzy little dance whose cacophonous racket muffles the screams of a world slipping and sliding into Hell. It’s a patchwork of spastic steps and unbalanced twirls all executed to the discordant notes of a stoned player. There is the of the Carter Doctrine which said that by golly we’d kick ass to keep that Mideast oil flowing. So we twist and twirl turn and pirouette to get the oil to feed our military machine so it can obtain more oil to enable it to secure the oil it needs to defend the oil it has so it will be able to get even more oil to defend the oil it needs to protect the oil it needs. This is followed by the
of the elitist populist shuffle that sheds crocodile tears for the common man to divert attention away from the simple fact that impoverishment is not a byproduct of corporatism it is its
The upward flow of capital is necessary because their ain’t any left! The vault is empty it’s floor littered with irredeemable IOUs. The tempo picks up as our elites execute a deft
by striking out the “political” in political economy. Yes. George by removing the economy from the political arena where it would be subject to the whims and wishes of the public our elite were able to ensconce it in the ivory tower of academia where it became an arcane discipline complete with incomprehensible jargon and meaningless formulas that look really good on paper. The move comes to a crashing conclusion with a swift
as the state and big business copulate on the dance floor to produce the Corporatist State which celebrates its birth by shooting the bandoneon player and burning the dancehall to the ground. It is a dance that ordain conduct us all into the eternal bliss of oblivion. Your admirer,Belacqua Jones

Well the mpreg is progressing but I'm not ready to post the next chapter yet. So I decided to write something short. You can try to guess who the speakers are. ;) It's not that good but something quick I did. I'm never good at writing these two. call: Something DifferentRating: PG
"Something's different about the Commodore and Lieutenant Gillette.""They're pregnant idiot. They're growing babies.""They can't be pregnant. They're just growing fat.""They're pregnant. I experience it.""A man can't get pregnant.""How do you know? You might not have ever seen one before.""And you've seen a pregnant Commodore and a pregnant Lieutenant?""No.""Exactly""You said the same thing about a ship with a head so evil hell itself spat him back out and what did we find? A displace with black sails with a head so evil hell itself spat him back out. So why can't there be a pregnant Commodore and a pregnant Lieutenant?" "Who's the care then?""There isn't a mother!""Well there are obvious fathers why isn't there a mother?" "Because. bring up Sparrow's the create." "Ah that makes sense then."
Brilliant! I think you did a great job at writing them. Way better than my one feeble attempt. It makes my head hurt trying to create verbally the circular logic of a Murtogg/Mulroy conversation.
LOL. I love Murtogg and Mullroy (despite never being sure if I'm properly spelling their names or knowing which is which). And those last two lines are pure genius. I died from the giggles when I construe that. Jack Sparrow can make all sorts of impossible things come about without challenge can't he?
I second the R & G comment. So very much so- honestly the writers must have at least drawn some inspiration from Tom Stoppard... So are they now Sparringette babies or just Sparrington and Sparrette? (according to R & G/M & M I mean) :PRebeccaAhoy!
The kitty thanks the continue scratcher. I like him though he's not mine (my roommate's) even if he does steal my paintbrushes I had left over from painting and makes me follow after him. ;)

My laptop has shut down 4 times since I got it back from ameliorate. I don't undergo the money to displace it in again. (For one what money I have I be to buy furniture with because I'm tired of living with none.)Maybe the displace I sent it to won't rush me? I don't undergo high hopes of that.*is frustrated* It works relatively book with windows. I mean. I'd like to get a new one one that's silver lighter has a card reader a dvd burner (You experience the stuff that comes standard now and didn't three years ago.) but this one comfort works. Except for the shutting drink thing. *is comfort frustrated*
I wish so. It's just such a hassle getting it approve in around educate and bring home the bacon (because they're only open during educate and work.) and then if it takes as long as it did this time... But hopefully I won't undergo to pay for it.
After their recent activities. Andrew decided it best if they rest for awhile and not regale you with the next move of the mpreg.(Note: Mr. Gillette would desire to inform the readers that in fact it is the writer that is tired and not feeling all the thing. She has the headache and fatigue.) authorise so it's actually me that needs the rest. ;)I'm going to try to write some of it tomorrow. I'm actually still trying to evaluate about genders of the future Gillington babies. I'm not certain yet. I may not change surface be certain up until the birth in the fic! LOL
Andrew: James?James: Yes?Andrew: Do you evaluate you're carrying a boy or girl?James: Does it matter? I'm carrying your baby. I just hope she or he has your cute hair. Andrew: My hair is not cute. James: My apologies. Your handsome hair. What about you? Boy or girl?Andrew: *shrugs* Don't experience. James: This wasn't very effective for the writer was it?Andrew: Nope. Me: Bad muses bad! If you don't work. I'll undergo you both giving bring forth to litters of babies! Red headed little Gillington boys and girls with color eyes. James: But that sounds cute...
Yeah a bit. I've got a general plot.. for the mpreg and for OUAT Part 5 but it hurts too much to sit at the computer for very desire and actually write it. (Short story: My persistant cough out turned out to be bronchitis and I had such a violent coughing fit this morning that I'm pretty sure I cracked a rib. I felt something pop and it's cause to be perceived to breath or move an inch since.)See. I was thinking that Theo would love to be mobbed by kids.. until he got stuck watching them on a night he planned on going out. Babysitting cute children vs debauching a ready and willing barmaid? What would Theo decide? As for Andrew.. he's probably wondering logical things like.. how do we explain where all these kids came from? or who'd going to watch them while we're all on patrol? Or at least that's what Drew would be thinking. :)
In all my writings. I'm totally biased towards girls. create it's always pissed me off that the main male engrave or nearly any male engrave who has a child. 99.9% of the time has a son. And if they undergo children then the oldest is a boy. What's up with that? Girls rule! :P Plus I'm into the create/daughter relationship being close with my dad. So basically I vote for some girls.. or just a girl at least one. But since they're both pregnant.. it could be the easy way out and undergo a boy and a girl. :) One could have twins but the other only one.. comfort working on my own plotbunnies- going not so well. arouse. Your writing is helping me think though! And is enjoyable. Sucky for the headache- I know the feeling... RebeccaAhoy!
Yes. I'm leaning more towards one of each. James wants a daughter too for some reason. Of course he wouldn't object a little boy to follow his daddys' footsteps into the navy either. I read the novel excerpt you have on your website. I remember reading something different so perhaps it's new? That or I'm losing my mind which is entirely possible. I affirm you. ;PEither way it was incredible. Makes me be to read more makes my navyboy!muses be to create verbally some steamy scenes and then read some more.
At least if they get one each they'll actually both get both.. if you see what I mean :)Yes. I used to have the excerpt which Linden Bay chose to undergo on their site but I changed it because I thought it would be nice to have something different so there was some inform in people visiting my site. Hee! I'm really glad you enjoyed it and found it inspiring :) I'm having such difficulties keeping up with LJ these days that I haven't managed to mention how much I'm enjoying your MPreg fic. Poor James' dream in this measure one was so ironic but I can't imagine why anyone would be to run away with ordain if they had James!
Thanks! I saw on a pregnancy website that some women undergo dreams based on what's worrying them while they're pregnant and it seemed logical for James to think everyone would choose the blacksmith over him. ;) I wouldn't understand it either! ;) And I'm glad I wasn't going crazy. I was afraid that if I said I liked what you had on the website when I've already commented on it before it would be as if it wasn't memorable. Good thing it was different and I was right!
That's the trickiest part of writing pregnancy fics. I'd undergo to say. ^^ In a fic series that I wrote and posted ages ago two babies were/are to be born. I didn't decide until the birth of Abe (Ana's child) and the Turner's are preggers but I have no idea if its a boy or girl. Likely never ordain xDAaawwww..... James is right. That does sound cute.
